Ambacht Ales are unique, even here in the Pacific Northwest where brewing is an art. Our handcrafted ales are Belgian inspired and influenced by the bounty of our region. Ambacht ales are made using local, organically grown ingredients. Our flavors are balanced, not too hoppy or sweet, brewed with Willamette Valley grown hops. Ambacht ales are mashed at a low temperature, giving them a refreshing dryness, and have a clean, toasty flavor from our organic malts. All of our ales are naturally carbonated by bottle conditioning with Pacific Northwest honey, which gives them a sweet finish. But perhaps the most important ingredient in our ales is time: it takes about three months from brew day until our ales are ready for you to enjoy!

Below is a list of our current ales. If you can't find one at one of our vendors, let us know you would like some and we can make more.

Ambacht Golden Farmhouse Ale label (blue)

Ambacht Golden Farmhouse Ale

A deep golden, saison style ale with a wonderful aroma that provides a preview to the spice, fruit and honey flavors to come. Balanced and drinkable with mild carbonation and dry, yet slightly sweet finish from bottle conditioning with local blackberry honey, this ale goes great with everything from pretzels to plank grilled salmon.

ABV: 6.5%;
Finishing gravity 1.006.

Ambacht Dark Farmhouse Ale label (red)

Ambacht Dark Farmhouse Ale

This ale started life as a Porter (we used to call it Black Gold Porter). But we had to tell folks it was our "Badly named Ale" since it was not black, not gold and not even a Porter. But we took this ale into a whole new world with a mysterious spiciness from the yeast and finish extremely dry, this one dark beer that is light and refreshing -- great with summer barbeques or hearty winter stews.

ABV: 6.5%;
Finishing gravity 1.006

Ambacht Golden Rye Farmhouse Ale label (green)

Ambacht Golden Rye Farmhouse Ale

Our Golden Ale with organic rye flakes added to the mash. The rye provides an extra layer of depth to the flavor, yet lets the peppery spice of the yeast show through. Tasty, quenching, very clean and smooth, a great summer session ale.

ABV: 6.5%;
Finishing gravity 1.008

Ambacht G++ label (white / yellow)

Ambacht G++ (Gee-plus-plus) Ale

A Belgian-style Strong Golden Ale is made from organic malts, with more body, more caramellization, more of everything the ale. Smooth and slightly smoky, like an aged scotch whisky. This is a put-up-your-feet and relax, after-dinner sort of beer to enjoy at the end of a long day: aaahhhh!

ABV: 8.0%;
Finishing gravity 1.010

Ambacht Golden Rose label (rose)

Ambacht Golden Rose Farmhouse Ale

Our Golden Ale infused with rose hips during secondary fermentation gives this slightly pink golden ale a floral spicy nose with hint of citrus. Smooth and moderately carbonated, this ale has a slight earthy astringency that IPA-drinkers may appreciate.
The ale that won the Monaco Cup when paired with pork and beans!

ABV: 6.5%;
Finishing gravity 1.005

Ambacht Pie Cherry Pale label (white / red)

Ambacht Pie Cherry Pale Farmhouse Ale

Our Golden Ale infused with whole Montmorency pie cherries from Yamhill County during the secondary fermentation. Rosy gold in color, its aroma has hints of cherries, as well as almonds. Not too sweet, and just a little bit tart, this ale's smooth dry finish makes it light on the tongue. Enjoy this ale for a reminder of summer.
A seasonal beer made when the cherries are ripe!

Ambacht MatzobraŘ label (Matzah)
